Mencap’s vision is to make the UK the best place in the world for people with a learning disability to lead happy and healthy lives. Mencap provides support, advice and information to people with a learning disability, their families and careers. We fight for a kinder, fairer and more inclusive society for people with a learning disability to live in. There is still so much to do so that people with a learning disability have the same rights as everyone else and are treated equally in society. Mencap provides 650 services supporting 3,500 people each year, to campaign for change, Mencap are committed to being led by people with a learning disability from all communities."
